On Sunday 21st April, Midland Centre arranged a visit to MPH Ltd in Blockley
near Morton in Marsh, Gloucestershire.
As we wondered around the workshops we could see various cars all in different
stages of restoration. The Turin Motor Show car AHX11, a hundred is being completed
to celebrate this years 50th anniversary. And the Earls Court Motor Show Demonstrator
Car, TAC620, is undergoing restoration. This car looked like a normal 100 but
in fact was a 100M specification car. The red rally car RSL273 was competing
in the Monte Carlo rally when an hour before the end of the event it hit a tree
and was unable to complete the rally.
Many of the cars have been imported back into this country and several are for sale. If you are interested in viewing the cars, please give Peter a telephone call on 01386 700967 or visit the Cotswold Classics Web Site .
From all the Members that attended the Midland Centre, we would like to thank Peter & his Wife Marit for the wonderful hospitality they gave us.
